I downloaded high quality vbr_mpg_zips (in mpg format) but when I burn the mpgs to audio CD using Nero (disc at once) or convert them to wav using mkwACT and then burn them with other programs (disc at once) I get a brief break in the music between tracks.
Any fixes or is this just the way mpgs convert/play?
If I download shns will the music play strait through?

Yes, the nature of mp3's will cause gaps between the tracks when discs are burned from them, unless you join them all into one long track beforehand. The SHN/FLAC downloads should burn seamlessly, assuming the uploader tracked them properly. The mp3's never will.

Thanks for the info.
Yep there gaps of varying times left at each end of a mpg or wav made from it.
I can use Sound Forge to auto trim/delete the silence but what a pain.
Guess shns is it.

This is the intent of "lossless" formats (SHN or FLAC) - nothing is missing so you get no gaps. For burning CD's and trading with friends, these are the formats of choice. Highest quality files.
